  • Fitting of buoyancy aids
  • The use of facilities as deemed necessary by the hydrotherapist
  • Assisted swimming from the hydrotherapist as necessary
  • Showering of your dog after therapy to ensure the removal of any traces of chlorine, We use only high quality dog shampoos.
  • Drying of the coat, we hand dry each dog - we do not use drying cages.
  • Written reports to your Veterinary Surgeon
  • Plenty of FUN !!!

Whilst we are happy to treat any dog referred to us by a Veterinary Surgeon, it is advisable to wait until dogs are at least six months of age before beginning hydrotherapy, due to the fast development of bones and joints in this early stage of life.

Dogs who are swimming for obesity and weight loss are inlcuded as rehabiliation as this is a medical condition which can lead to further health problems.
